About us

History

PRIMPS was established in November 2004 as Prominence Aviation College. The institution has been approved by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to provide tertiary education to students who want to pursue professional programmes.
Initially specializing in aviation and maritime programmes, the institution has witnessed significant growth in population and programmes offered. In 2012, the board of directors met and deliberated on the need to have a change in name. The institution officially changed its name from PROMINENCE AVIATION COLLEGE to PROMINENCE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & PROFESSIONAL STUDIES (PRIMPS) on September 20, 2012.
